You have to increase your reach if you ever want to make money doing this!

People love to “buy” but they hate being sold…

Publishing content isn’t about selling people, it’s about educating and entertaining, and then maybe having something available to buy.

When you’re able to position your offer in a way that people just want it, regardless of the price or when they’ll be able to afford it, instead of feeling like there’s some sort of time or financial pressure, you’ll always do better.

I’m sure you have something you’ve been coveting…

Maybe a big purchase or just something you keep telling yourself you’ll get around to buying when you have a little extra money.

Those are the kinds of things people keep thinking about it, put on their vision boards, add to their “to do” list, ponder what their future looks like as they’re enjoying it. That’s what you should strive for.

You know, the kind of stuff they’ll tell all of their friends (or even random strangers) about without being prompted.

The things you recommend and talk about can be the actual “thing” itself, but the reason it’s shareable is often more about the way it makes you feel, or the experience that you had while using it.

Think about all of the free or low cost services out there that are highly profitable to the companies. They deliver value to the consumer: Television, radio, streaming service, social media, search engines, podcasts, blogs…

People always talk about what they saw on INSERT PLATFORM/SHOW HERE, or what they heard on INSERT CHANNEL/PODCAST HERE, or what they read in INSERT PUBLICATION HERE. You can create that same phenomenon.

These companies acquire viewers and users, while most of them generate revenue by having a percentage of savvy business owners invest in them because of their reach and intrinsic value. Like, selling space to advertisers, or having sponsors, or selling products/service to their audience.
